@CanadianCrone @GottaLaff I am an eternal optimist, particularly at the beginning of someone's political career when you tend to be the most ambitious. I would have preferred the consumer carbon tax to remain indefinitely, however, I think it has at least started the engine of decarbonization in the consumer space. Electrification of the car fleet is ongoing and inevitable now.

The next biggest source is industry. So I really hope Carney holds the line there and uses it to speed that transition.
