Europe must rise to today’s challenges.

In our first 100 days, the new von der Leyen Commission has taken bold steps to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness, security, and democracy.

We are building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Union—and we will keep delivering for all Europeans.

@EUCommission What do you ask of EU citizens? Given the urgency of the common challenges, how can we help?
@EUCommission Not for all Europeans apparently.
@hellenicsun @EUCommission How exactly have you taken steps to strengthen Democracy? By travelling to India? Have you seen how your friend Mitsotakis and the police treat people in Greece? How the justice system only serves a few oligarchs and their cronies? Please stop with the gaslighting.

@jubei no, they have not - as far as Greece goes. They actively choose to support him and his government (was about to write regime) apparently because he's a "yes man", a "good boy" playing by their rules. Don't forget that they have also played an active role to what our train system (..and not only that) has become. Hypocrites.

@EUCommission
Don't forget to also reform the EU asap with a Ministry of Finance, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a parliament with the power to dismiss what passes for its government (the European Council)
@Johan_Barelds @EUCommission Parliament will have to assert this power with the backing of the people, it's never going to be granted by the Council or the Commission. Write to your MEP or even better, vote for a party which supports european federalism.
@EUCommission Speaking of democracy, which is in the process of being undermined by Twitter/X: When will the individual 27 commissioners finally join either Mastodon or BlueSky?
@EUCommission
A trade war is coming wether you like it or not ally with relevant nations and strike first. Negotiation is empty without action.
@EUCommission Never forget: USA declared war against Europe today. Make it the MAIN principle to act against fashism

@EUCommission

… for the good of our unelected Brussel mafia …

If you want to do something for Europe, stop election madding in Romania!
