I want a #linux laptop that does suspend/resume the way the #steamdeck does.

Always works, instant, very little drain when sleeping.

They should make a steamtop.

My next one will be. Though for all I've read battery life is still not great.

I've had access to a Mac Air M3 for a while and that thing was magic w.r.t. suspend and battery life.

If only I didn't dislike MacOS so much :)

  • Most of the "#magic" of #ARM is a shitload of patented power savings...

Nah, nothing too experimental. I'm willing to try a distro or two, but am no longer willing to futz around for ages until my laptop works.

Cool stuff, just not for me (right now)
