I am unsure what to do next. The weather doesn't look that good in the next week but what bothers me more is the state of the route I would like to take. (Yeah they don't bother to sign them in Spain and it is really bad for EV routes).

So I am considering taking the train to the French border and start riding there, at least on the official website it looks like it should be fully developed with signs and stuff. It won't help with weather but it will be some change at least.

The train is from Santiago de Compostela to Pamplona.

You know what they say about when you take something apart and put it together again that some bolts will remain unused, for me it was the through axel that didn't make it in to the box.

Also I decided to take a bus, trains here don't take assembled bikes and since I had to disassemble it I decided to took night bus to Bilbao (probably the closest direct route to French border still 150km of riding to it).

It took me only about an ½ hour to put it there, probably bit bigger box and I am less careful.

Hope the weather will be better for you than it looks on a glance at the forecast, and an ok night on the bus!
@bonjour yeah I would prefer train with proper bike space but you know here it is space technology...
@plactagonic ... and this is is probably where my idea of solar bike originated..   @bonjour

@xChaos don't tempt me, I already have this one reserved.

@bonjour

@plactagonic @bonjour not bad... how much it weight? Too small wheels, I am afraid...

@xChaos I don't know. It is one of the first production azub bikes.

It has bit of a interesting story, it is owned by guy who work there as accountant but now as he told me he is too old to use it. He is somehow related/friend with the owners.

As for wheels, it's 20' both of them, good for heavier loads but I don't know how it will be with speed. But the size doesn't matter that much as people think.
