Some call it a Hitchcock zoom; #Servant also uses it occasionally but this short video illustrates the impact it has when there isn't a background with depth it forces your perception on the subject in the frame in a way that otherwise doesn't, and it creates the "change" that we see as people phase in/out of their severed states. really cool clip. #technique #filmmaking #photography
