Donald Trump stood in front of Congress tonight and reinforced what we already knew: He’s a corrupt megalomaniac lunatic who is running our country to the ground. These are not normal times. Everything is not fine. We are in crisis. With each passing day, we are waiting to see when Republicans will draw the line: Will it be when he proclaims himself king (again)? Or when he degrades our foreign allies on Putin’s behalf (again)?

Or when he and Musk eliminate government agencies that keep our country safe and running (again)? So far, we’ve learned that Republicans in Congress have no hard lines. Tonight, they all stood and clapped on cue as Trump rambled on about his despotic agenda and made us all less safe.

Republicans don’t want to answer for Trump or Musk, and so they’ve decided against showing up in public.

Republicans are dodging town halls and refusing to face their voters, because they don’t have solutions or guts. They own this disaster as much as Musk and Trump.

These are not normal times, and we cannot treat this as business-as-usual politics. Indivisibles aren’t going to let them hide.
