I’d like to extend my sincere condolences to my American friends for what we’re about to do to the U.S., but sometimes the only way to deal with a bully is to punch them in the face. That traitor is holding you hostage, and until he’s removed, the best we can do for you, friends, and us, is to kick the stuffing out of him.

Also, it’s been a long cold winter since that orange buffoon and his Fox ilk started harassing us a decade ago, and whatever small pain we can inflict on that arse is good.

@fsinn πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

@fsinn And yes, we're going to endure some pain for this, because the orange arse is going to hit back, and we're probably going to take some damage as we punch back even harder.

But first time 'round, the fight was for fairness. Now its a fight for survival. Bring it, asshole.

@alan I honestly think they have no idea what they’ve set off. It’s the same arrogance of Putin thinking he’d walk in and take Ukraine in a couple of weeks.

No, you won’t.

@fsinn I truly think he's taking instructions from Putin on so many things that he's thinking like him. Here comes the FO part of Fuck Around with Canada and Find Out.

@alan @fsinn The people he's FA with most are his own voters. They're not particularly bright, but they are mostly all armed, occasionally with short fuses. That's a FO crowd with a personal grudge if he f's up their benefits.

This won't even think of ending well.

@steter @fsinn The irony that the Second Amendment might actually serve the purpose it was intended for, especially from the people who put him in office, is not lost on me.

One hopes that a sufficient number of those in Congress who are blindly supporting the Russian Asset in Chief either start to read the room in Town Halls or get their traitorous asses primaried out of office, thus giving us a political solution. But if that fails, well-armed militias it is.

The whole thing is surreal.

@fsinn @alan you’re absolutely right. Men who are never told no really think this is just how life works for them.

Mike Myers' Secret Message to Canadians

Charlie Angus / The Resistance
@CanadianCrone @fsinn Way past that. As soon as he started talking tariffs, the gloves were on the ice. If he knew anything about our military history, from WW2 through to Afghanistan, and if he was maybe ten times less stupid, he'd realize that this is a reflection of the Canadian character. Draw us into a fight at your peril.
Alan Langford (@[email protected])

Q: "What does Canada, as the 51st state mean to you?" A: I don't know, because I would have died in the war to defend my country. Next question please. #Canada

@alan

The Storm Troopers from WW1, The Devil's Brigade from WW2. We don't take prisoners, either, because a POW is stealing your food rations.

In one example, after storming a beach, when the Canadian soldiers reached a Nazi bunker, they found every Nazi with their guns laid on the ground, hands in the air, crying. Not one prisoner was taken.

You don't mess with Canadians!

@CanadianCrone @fsinn

@TheDefiant604 @CanadianCrone @fsinn And sadly, the Canadian Airborne Regiment in Somalia. Really bad idea to send your most ruthless regiment in on a peacekeeping mission. Really, really bad.
@alan I would argue that we were going to take the pain either way - the question was how much we were going to give away before we stopped letting him move the goalposts.
@anyGould That's a fair assessment. I think he was frustrated by the slow pace of his agenda the first time he was in office, and now he's determined to move with breakneck speed. I also think that this is a terrible strategic blunder that will wind up with his neck being broken instead (figuratively speaking; I still want to see him wallowing in a jail cell, all the time whining like the child he is).
@fsinn As an American, I say do whatever you need to do to bring the orange one to his knees. It will hurt, but we need an exorcism.

@fsinn actually, you’re helping us. Hit hard and make it hurt. The worst thing that could happen is there are no consequences for this level of lunacy.

Publicize products made in Canada. Some of us will actually be more likely to buy them now.

@fsinn Get one of those Ford clowns to come down and beat him up.

@fsinn Oh, Canada, punch MAGAfascist chump DOGE bitches anywhere, everywhere!🀘πŸ”₯πŸ––
@fsinn Thank you. Keep those punches coming. ✊🏼
@fsinn @MarvClowder We’re with you! We’re sorry!!! Really, really sorry! β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

@fsinn

As an American I totally expect the rest of the world to act against the Trump admin and to protect themselves economically and politically, the responsibility for the fallout for us citizens is still the fault of Trump, the GOP and those who elected him.

It's still ultimately our responsibility as Americans to fight him before anyone else.

That is to say; do it.

@fsinn no don’t apologize someone has to punch it, and the Democrats here won’t.
@fsinn Send your most belligerent hockey goons and do your worst. Leave Trump, Musk, and the rest of them crumpled on the ice looking for their teeth. Make the Flyers jealous.
@fsinn Do what you need to do. We understand. I will continue to buy Canadian (and Mexican).
@fsinn I just wish our Congress had the same courage that Canada does. We understand, we really do.
