Everyone here is aware of the irony that the most effective way to degoogle is actually to use a pixel. Its dumb but its the reality.
e8d79Unfortunately true ever since divestos stopped being developed. Living without a smartphone is pretty hard nowadays, but a reasonably secure and private smartphone (or anything really) is something reserved for the tech-enthusiast and you have to give money to Google.
I miss CyanoGenMod back in the dizzay.
What about GrapheneOS then?
It requires you to buy a Google Pixel Phone and its too complicated for the average user. Just look at the usage guide, I completely understand anyone who wouldn’t want to deal with any of that.
Well i degoogled my Google Pixel with LineageOS and microG.
My next phone will be a Fairphone.
