There is a special kind of anxiety that goes with doing a design pitch to a director you haven’t worked with before.
Especially when it’s a pretty short turn around between first meeting & director’s brief into the lighting presentation because I’m heading into four weeks of chaos so needed to do it today at the latest

I know the brief said hyperrealism but I think neo-noir inspired use of tone and shadows with a softer frame is what we actually want. And it transitions into neon-noir meets diesel-punk later
