@GottaLaff @georgetakei I forgot about that. It was just in 2020, too. But his issues were great and he ran boldly. It seems like the primary voters were interested in returning to a comfortable candidate after cute years of Trump;maybe this time around they'll realize we need a more radical change.
@msbellows I like him, what he stands for, but he was never good at campaigning or debating. Not a strong candidate.
@GottaLaff @georgetakei Okay, I'll trust you on that. It seems really weird to me, though. He's one of our best communicators. Maybe like Biden his time will come in a couple of decades, but by then I hope we don't need straight white men to win anymore.

Lots of people are like this. The primary process is great at discovering who can connect with the masses. It is a very particular capability. On our side Clinton and Obama had it. People know it when they see it, but it is not obvious beforehand.
