I have always rejected the idea of BS "inventing" Heavy Metal, I understand it's like saying Elvis "invented" Rock and Roll. Both were born in several minds, in alternate but colliding moments, and both were going to be born regardless of who took the credit for it, imo.
Now that being said, BS, Fathers of Doom Metal? Absolutely. That child has only one parent. Or four, if you will.
