Oh I can deny it alright. wow.

Aside from the plain wrongness of this (socialisation takes place in the real world, not in an institution structured by age and, in my case, gender) how many times did teachers at your school berate you with "you are not here to socialise; you are here to learn".

@slimdave also please pick one: you can't have schools being "the only place to learn to socialise" whilst there is also "a culture of abuse and violence from pupils".
