@joplinapp I just heard about your app tonight, during a class I attended. I'm visually impaired & your app was mentioned as a free alternative to OneNote. However, on my #Windows11 computer, with the #JAWS #Screen-reader, I'm unable to sync because it's insisting that I create a Joplin Cloud account, which I found out, has a cost associated with it. Would you be willing to provide more info on pricing? I was unable to find it on your website? (1/2)
I greatly appreciate your attention to #accessibility! :) If you need #BetaTesters for upcoming features, count me in! :) (2/2)
@KE8UPE Thank you, any feedback on accessibility is welcome! We have a thread here with some ongoing discussions - feel free to let us know any issue you may have noticed
@joplinapp @KE8UPE Is there a way if Joplin is minimized to the system tray to hit a hotkey to enter a quick note similar to OneNote's feature? I bet there is but I haven't found it yet. I want to be able to jump in to create a note quickly, like if I get a phone call, etc.
@JeffBishop Yeah, I have the same question too. Any advice, @joplinapp?
@KE8UPE @JeffBishop Unfortunately not currently, but that would indeed be a good feature! I think someone worked on it a while back but it didn't make it to production. I'll create a feature request to track this
Add support for global hotkey to show and hide Joplin · Issue #11805 · laurent22/joplin

We have an implementation here: #2653 The new implementation should create a command and associated shortcut

@joplinapp @JeffBishop The #Linux desktop app does not support #Orca by default. Is this something you’d be willing to look into?
@KE8UPE It looks like they've resolved the issue!
@personalizedrefrigerator Really? Was there an update?
@KE8UPE There was for me. To be clear, I'm referring to the Flatpak version of Joplin (which is what's shown in the Fedora app store).
@personalizedrefrigerator Ok, cool! I have Flatpak installed. I'll be able to test tomorrow.
