I might turn off the AI stuff in Xcode. For every time it works, there is another time where it puts a parentheses or a ? in the wrong place and I'm stumped for 5 minutes trying to figure out why I'm getting an error.
@collin It feels to me like having a very junior coding partner making random suggestions that *might* be right, if I can just derail my thought process to consider them. It's a pass from me.
@slimdave that is how copilot feels, but the thing in Xcode just makes ridiculous mistakes. Sometimes Copilot’s solution isn’t what you want, but it’s generally always syntactically correct. Xcode will leave off parentheses and put dots in the wrong place.
