This reddit post likely has tens if not hundreds of thousands of views, look at the top comment. Lemmy is losing so many potential new users because the UX sucks for the vast majority of people. What can we do?

Confusion around duplicate communities - Lemmy.World

Is anyone else finding this somewhat confusing? Is there a way to find/pick the “right” one, or should it just be based on whichever has the most users? New to Fediverse (here and Mastodon), still trying to wrap my head around the whole thing.

Nowadays, [email protected] has daily threads promoting active communities

Also what client where you using for that screenshot? Clients usually show instances after the communities name
