So I’ve been seeing and reading a tonne of conflicting stuff about 45w Charging and sfc2.0 especially for the s25u. Some say 5a cable is no longer required even. I went out and bought a bunch of 3rd party brand chargers, all of which are supposed to support sfc2.0, namely: - Anker 735 65w Ganprime - Anker 313 Ace2 45w - Ugreen Nexode 65W - Ugreen 100W USB C Charger, Nexode 4 Ports Charging Station And my personal conclusion is: - 65w (or under) chargers need 5a cable to get sfc2.0 - 100w chargers can use any cable, including the one that came in box to get sfc2.0 Just FYI if anyone is looking for charger/cable combo to get sfc2.0. 5a cables, I believe any cable marketing itself as 100w or above should be 5a capable. E.g. I got this generic cable off Amazon: LISEN USB C to USB C Cable 1M 1 Pack 240W and it’s fine. Noting that even with sfc2.0, the highest watts I saw on screen with AccuBattery, however accurate that is, was 35w when my battery was 4% and kept cool so I still haven’t seen that magical 45w yet, but it charged very fast. 4% to 85% took 40 mins, which is very very fast in my books. Changed the way I use the phone, virtually no battery anxiety anymore. I noticed sfc1.0 also maxes out at 30w and not 25w as well, which makes the difference even more negligible. I would end this by saying don’t feel the need to go out of your way to spend money to get sfc2.0.
