During the night, a Russian drone carrying a high-explosive warhead struck the protective sarcophagus covering Reactor No. 4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Fortunately, radiation levels inside and outside the facility remain normal and stable, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The sarcophagus was originally constructed to contain radioactive contamination following the catastrophic 1986 Chernobyl disaster.

@eunews

Original disaster caused by Russian pigheaded incompetence.

This near disaster caused by evil Russian ghoulishness.

Putin is a hard act to follow.

@eunews I'm not convinced this was deliberate or even if it was Russia.

It's an absolutely insane and stupid thing to do for both sides.
#propaganda

@dick_turpin @eunews what more plausible scenario are you following? And don’t worry, I’m not going to judge you on your answer.I’ve already done that, I’m just wondering what the current facist line is.
@passwordsarehard4 @eunews Ah the old (Supposed) argument winner; accuse the interlocuter of being a fascist. #LeSigh

@eunews

State terrorism and a war crime…

@eunews this doesn't sound like 'Peace' to me, sounds like another attack on Europe at large. #Russia #Ukraine

@eunews
@briankrebs

“I believe he wants peace. I believe that President Putin – when I spoke to him yesterday, I mean, I know him very well – yeah, I think he wants peace. I think he would tell me if he didn’t,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

@eunews putin is a criminal against humanity‼️😡
@eunews Putin wants us to fear, just ignore such news.

@eunews

What forensic evidence exists that this was a Russian drone and not a false flag by the Ukrainians intended to influence the upcoming talks? Be specific. Cite your sources.

It is plausible that this was a Russian act, but where's the proof. Plausibility is not proof. Show us the proof.

@eunews jesus, what's up with all these bots telling it's the Ukrainians bombing the Ukrainians again? This starts to feel like twitter all over
@eunews This spits on the memory of those brave men & women who gave their lives to put that fire out and control the leak.
@eunews
I cannot see any possible advantage for the Russians to do that. It's not like they need to make extra threats. Doesn't smell right to me.
@eunews I truly hope that Europe will step up and continue supporting Ukraine against Russian tyranny.
