Or should i not try it because people seem to be increasingly fed up when they hear from the Fediverse, because its "burned" for artists and makers, and everyone is on Bluesky?
Is the Fediverse at all a place welcoming to someone selling their work?

@crazy_pony Absolutely. Maybe not kinky.business as they're shutting down last I heard but for example @bhlounge is advertising for their products and nobody has a problem with that (as they're, additionally, very nice people).
Of course, with dildos it's another thing, but as long as they comply with their instance's rules (I guess they'd need a kink open instance and use CWs), they should be good to go.
Mastodon users just don't like ads forced up on them, but that's not the case with an account they can follow or not.
In fact, in my opinion mastodon needs more well-run company accounts. Especially run by smaller businesses.
