junkman@Techaltar how meaningful do you think are companies designing their own chips for AI? Given the state of the industry, the bottleneck is at the fabs and nvidia is likely a premium customer for TSMC which could further delay work on new comers' designs.
I feel like it makes sense for companies like AWS since they have lots of datacenters and invest a lot in analytics

The entire Commission and Macron especially seems seriously committed to it and with their abundance of nuclear France seems well placed for it. I tried Mistral's Le Chat that was released last week and I've been seriously impressed with it.
