Wart-headed bug and the dragon-headed bug (Phrictus quinquepartitus), a species of planthopper found in Central and South America. This insect has a hollow, wart-covered snout that acts as a false head. It uses this structure for protection & potentially to look like a dangerous object, though it does not emit light, despite being a lanternfly family member. It reveals bright yellow false eyes located on its hind wings, when threatened. Their mating involves drumming behavior, tapping their head-like structure against trees to produce vibrations.

Ok last one: the rarest solar eclipse of all time. Only 4 people have seen this with their naked eyes. The sun is fully behind the moon. The only faint light hitting the near side is reflecting off of earth, 250,000 miles away. And the stars and galaxies in the background, sheesh

Just so we're clear -- the law Israel just passed mandating death by hanging for Palestinians is apartheid.

It. Is. Apartheid.

Israel does not punish Israelis who kill Palestinians. Instead, Israel has illegally detained more than 10,000 Palestinians, including 1000 children, without charge or conviction. These are hostages held without access to counsel in concentration camps.

This. Is. Apartheid. Any politician or journalist who cannot acknowledge that is complicit. Period.
