Which is your favourite performance?
The earnest, heartfelt vibe of this one from Inkigayo still hits.

This retro reaction to Spring Day from the ReactToTheK kids (lookit how young Umu is!) is so fun. Bonus Amino App promo that is so much nostalgia too.

We know that we are deeply into this kpop stuff because we are now getting nostalgic about old ReacttotheKs!
Now a more general BTS question for you and any other ARMY who happen to be reading this:
If you were to recommend just three non-English language BTS tracks to an open minded nonkpop person, which three would you choose?
@jemmesedi Haha .. so true! But ReactToTheK is so much a part of the journey for lots of ARMYs.
My go to rec for when I'm indoctrinating .. I mean sharing BTS with new people is always BTS Room Live from 2021's Festa. Because it showcases a bunch of songs, the vocals are sooo good, and they're clearly having the best time and it's infectious.

@jemmesedi But that's kind of a cheat ... sooo, if I had to pick three tracks I'd say ...
DNA - for the choreo, the vocal transitions and the pretty colours (both tone and aesthetics) and it's such an earworm.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBdVXkSdhwU
Mikrokosmos - this performance in particular because the whole interaction between ARMY and Bangtan is joy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq6RdCTLBd8
Mic Drop - because it's fierce and the rappers deserve their moment.

@jemmesedi But it also really depends on who you're sharing with and what their musical tastes are too.
ARMY made a chart for this because of course they did.
I'm thinking the orange and green threads are probably the right tracks to share with you. 💜
Oooh, I enjoy looking at recommendations structured like this.
Although I'm not an expert, I don't think kpop fans are that much more industrious/obsessive than film fans were in the studio era. What's changed, of course, is fans' access to tools for creation and communication.
anyway, it's impressive stuff!
Thank you!
@jemmesedi The resources that ARMY have built over the years are astounding. So many cool things to explore. Let me know if I guessed right about orange and green when you get a chance to explore!
Sweet dreams! 😴
DNA is one of the wormiest of earworms, isn't it? I used to play it in a class where I talked about biology and culture.
Yes, the rapport comes over very well in that Mikrokosmos video - delightful!
Mic Drop -- hmmm, I would imagine that would be something for those who are really hiphop oriented could relate to; not really my cup of tea, though I can see it's well executed.
Overall, these seem like good choices for showing to nonfans. Have you tried them out on monfans in real life?
@jemmesedi DNA is the ear wormiest and It's still so fresh all these years later!
And of course, my friends know they're getting BTS and Kpop if I'm allowed to pick the music and these three tracks get plenty of play. Some of them have become casual fans .. but most are into metal or hip-hop.
i have to go bed soon, so I'll watch this tomorrow.
Thanks for your thoughtful replies to my question.
