My standout memory will be seeing them perform live, all together, OT7, post-enlistment in Las Vegas.

And then we walked out of the stadium to the Strip to head back to the hotel and saw it lit up like this! If you had told 10-year-old me that the world would be obsessed with Asian musicians who didn't speak English fluently, I would never have believed you.

This year started with a surprise live around midnight KST with all the members in Namjoon’s new apartment. 🤗

The new album #Arirang was released on march 20th and the ticket sale for their world tour was more stressful to me than my work could ever be.

They did a lot of promotions, but I want to share the recent live where RM talked about the process of writing the album and what he thinks about every track.

Jin enlisting got me interested, but the maknae reeled me in I guess. It took a couple of months to admit I got hooked and was enjoying myself way too much (you know, felt too old at 47 to be into a kpop boy group, on hiatus no less...). After letting go of all that crappy ageism I just had fun, all the feels and hours of JK lives.
So this is one of my fave 2023 memories...

okay, this is a tough one, but since they are all back and enlistment is history.... these photos everywhere on my feed were the reason I went down the bora rabbit hole. I was just curious why they all looked so sad... 🥹 Two weeks earlier I liked a kpop # reel and this was probably the reason why my algo got me here (plus the Bangtan TV videos of course)...
