I'd like to make the following observation. Yesterday's Oval Office press briefing with Elon Musk was not a projection of strength. They are getting defensive. They know a lot of people are pissed at them and the walls are closing in.

I'm saying this because right now I'm seeing a lot of doomerism permeate the online discourse. This is not all inevitable. Keep fighting because whatever we doing, is getting to them. And it shows.

@zalasur I think that these high profile, dramatic problems in D.C. are spurring on some well-coordinated alliance-forming and civil resistance movements. This is seriously overdue for the U.S., and I hope it lasts long after Trump is out of office to take on the real corruption (bribery and insider trading, etc) and push for important changes like universal healthcare and serious climate action.

Things are extremely bad right now, but I'm optimistic that people are actually mobilizing.
