DTrasler Writing@georgetakei While I (as a Canadian) approve this message, it assumes there's ever going to be another US election. I don't think he's going to risk that again. He told his followers during the campaign - elect him this time, you won't have to vote again. He wasn't joking.

@Extra_Special_Carbon @georgetakei I just don't get all this "analysis" - "What could he mean? Could he really buy Greenland?" He's not joking. He doesn't know or care if it's legal or possible. He just says it because he thinks it. Another election (that he could LOSE) is not something he wants. So he'll try to stop there being one.
Bill Zaumen@Dtraslerwriting @georgetakei How about, as a test, allowing each Canadian province to elect two U.S. senators for one standard 6 year term? Canada would still be its own country and the U.S. would get some badly needed adult supervision.
Think of it as helping an elderly neighbor suffering from a mental health crisis.
@bzdev @georgetakei I would wait until we get through our election without giving any power to Pierre P and his gang of wannabe Magats. We look ok so far, and Trump being such a fascist so fast has helped people look twice at PP. But still, we COULD fuck it all up....
