Gaah, how do you deal with general feeling of "everything's shit"?

The work thing I used to love and felt like it was impactful (Unity) has been going downhill for many years, and so far does not look like it wants to stop going downhill.

What I dabble with now (Blender) feels useful, but I'm too afraid to take on more impactful areas/work/responsibilities.

And then, everything outside of "just ye olde coding" feels like it is going to shit.

Argh!

@aras There is nothing you can do about the way Unity is going. Just accept it and move on. Not your circus, not your monkeys.

Do what you feel is necessary, but no more than that. Duty is the death of love. This cool tinkering with Blender may soon become a chore if you allow things to get too serious.

Other than that, the spring is coming, the days are getting longer. It will get better.

@wolfpld good point wrt sun hours ❤️
@aras @wolfpld yeah just personally this is about the lowest point for me each year with the darkness. It’ll get better man. Take care of yourself.
@neilhenning @aras @wolfpld I can empathize with you. You have spent 20+ years and have seen Unity grow from infancy. I hope you will be able to detach yourself and move on. I come from country where we have sunlight 12 hours a day 365 days. So coming to Canada hits me really bad. What I found useful is going out right as I wake up. Doesnt matter what I do most of the time I just take coffee and sit. Second is having a hobby for me music helps. So I keep learning musical instruments. Take Care!
