@capnthommo I assume so, some further up the field were quite tiny. I saw some the other week but they were behind a thick hedge. They were also quite tiny. My neighbours’ sheep will be lambing in about 4 weeks.

@capnthommo not a clue I’m afraid. I’ve seen them in Devon around this time of year previously. Must be the milder climes of the west coast!
@capnthommo I only had my phone camera so distant photo of ewes further up the slope are blurry, but if you zoom in you might be able to detect some distinguishing features!
@helenclayton I couldn't really see either. But they don't look like the hardier hill breeds to me.

@thebaywindowgirl I just checked my photos and saw my first lambs in Devon last year on 5th Feb! I guess it’s the mild climes of west Wales and the southwest.
