If you are giving money to #DTBOs such as #bluesky, #xitter, #substack, #threads, #linkedin , etc, please, spare us your manufactured outrage about the #TurdReich / #musk clusterfuck, since you are part of their financial resources.

Every time you open a DTBO socmedia client, or hit their website, you are generating clicks, which fuel ad reports, which translates as cents to the pockets of the billionaires using that money to kill democracy.

@faraiwe Isn't the alternative to preach to a very small choir? The fediverse is overwhelmingly blue. What we need is broader support and action. I would liken it to a factory worker using factory resources to make weapons to turn against the profiteer.

@faraiwe Wild idea: it's more foolish to skim read and mis-represent the post you're replying to. I wasn't talking about reaching out to active, committed Trump supporters, but to people who don't care, yet about politics, the silent majority, people who are ignorant or feeling apathetic or hopeless in the face of all this. It's them we need to mobilise. Facebook, Threads, X, are overwhelmingly populated by those.

@faraiwe Even wilder idea: we got here and may lose because of posts like yours, which basically boil down to "you're an idiot for not being as enlightened as I am so not worthy of my time". While the left is busy tearing itself apart for the narrowest of disagreements or disparities in knowledge or political education, fascists have their shit together and are getting things done.
