The supporting local indie bookstores is good tho.
@pyperkub @thin_line @pluralistic agreed, that's where we need better interop, baby steps in the right direction. Bookfusion is the service I use with my Palma because of Calibre integration, though it too has deficiencies with relation to its store and available public library hooks.

I went and jailbroke my Kobo, installed KOReader, and try to pay for EPUBs when and where I can.
For example, I totally am a sucker for @pluralistic's Kickstarters. It's truly a great way to sell a book.
Eagerly awaiting the latest Martin Hench book !! Can't wait to Pick it up and Shovel it down my brain in a matter of day(s).
