Reading at a tea shop. I picked this book because it was recommended reading in preparation for the Trump presidency round two.

I’ve previously listened to Masha Gessen’s book on Putin, The Faceless Man, and their work is always so engrossing. I immediately feel my energy rising when I read them.

A note on the tea. I gave up drinking caffeinated coffee because I’m a migraineur and caffeine is a known migraine trigger, so now I drink mostly non caffeinated teas.

One of my favorites is soba cha that comes from this specific store in Green Point: Kettl. We ran out at home, so had to make a soba cha run and made a day of it out here.

Thank you for the recommandations of books and tea. I shall definitely stop by the shop when I get to NYC ❤️
@Inky_Pendragon it’s right around the corner from Yoseka stationery if you plan to visit there. My other blights are iconic I for dinner and dashi okume for lunch
@Metropolitanist I'll have to pick it up. I've loved their work. My first book of theirs was "Perfect Rigor" on mathematician Grigori Perelman
