Tesla CEO now spending all his time supporting hateful ideology worldwide.

His political ambitions and projects, such as the election lottery and Twitter acquisition, are funded through loans on his Tesla stock.

If you’re buying a Tesla or charging at a Supercharger you’re financially supporting these efforts.

@fj I feel honestly sorry for all those people who bought Teslas three years ago and more, when the degree of his awfulness was less apparent.
@fj @euractiv I do wonder how he can *seriously* be CEO of all these companies, work for the federal government, *and* fly around spreading hate. Something's got to give.
He does know that the Nazis and the SS rounded people like him up even before they went after Jews, right. He does know they'd murder him in a heartbeat.
@fj I'm no musk fanboy. Despise the guy. Bought my M3 in early 2019 before all his crap. Charge at home from solar and the grid 99.9% of the time. But occasionally I have to go to the supercharger. What do I do if I can't get home with the charge I have if I don't stop at the supercharger? Can't afford to sell mine to get a new EV. Besides that would just be passing the issue on to someone else anyway. I'm not a nazi sympathizer AT ALL just because I own a Tesla.

@tapforms just avoiding it when you can is already a great step. I hope you get more charging options where you drive!

I’m aware that this advice might not be as applicable in North America compared to Europe where we have a higher density of compatible CCS2 charging networks and it’s “easy” to avoid Superchargers thanks to the many alternatives.

@tapforms @fj does a Tesla only work with superchargers in Canada too like in the USA? In EU the M3 has a CCS charging port as required by law, so any charger will do...
@niksu you need an adaptor which I don't have, to use CCS but it takes longer to charge than a supercharger too.
@tapforms @fj As has been referenced, your car can be upgraded to support CCS via an adapter. DIY through second hand parts is a bit more effort, but I believe possible—definitely with new OEM parts.
@fj
It was us blindly following the idea of electric cars without a real proof of their overall environmental impact anyways.
We need to stop following a political party and follow ideas instead. Electric cars just pushed away the idea of hydrogen cars which could be much more environmentally impactful. And we supported it, because the rich guy was a Democrat at that time.
