60 thousand people in #Bratislava (and tens of thousand in more than 20 other cities) has just protested against the pro-Russian policy of our crooks in charge. #slavaukraini #slovakiaiseurope #protest #peoplemarch
Somebody cut the power in the middle of the gathering.

@tylnesh When it happened, we half-joked with people around me asking whether this is the moment when the terror begins, and water guns and riot shields come out.

Fortunately, even Fico is not that stupid. The organizers later confirmed that it was an accident, not a sabotage.

@ticho yeah, same here. Wifey was quite worried, probably shouldn’t have watched all those videos from Georgia yesterday.
@tylnesh I figured, the most they would date try today was some small scale fight started by some provocateurs. Anything more than that would be political suicide, because firstly, there were a lot of old people and people with small children everywhere in the crowds, and secondly, it would send very strong signals across the entire EU. Unlike Georgia, we are already in it, and EU would react to any sort of violent suppression.
@ticho well, France is in the EU as well and their protests often end in fights and suppression. I am glad it went peacefully, just like all the other protests that I attended to, even before the murder of Kuciak and Kusnirova.
