@randahl The minute anyone actually passes an amendment to let Trump run a third time, he’ll be facing Barack Obama in the next election.

Between that and the fact that an Amendment needs 2/3 of both houses of Congress to pass, followed by 3/4 of the state legislatures, I’d say this is more of a gesture of loyalty than anything to worry about within the next four years.

@mighty_orbot @randahl what’s the mechanism of enforcement on that again? The laws only hold weight if the government is willing to enforce them. Most Americans won’t vote, there is no help here. Democracy died of its own stupidity.
