I actually modelled most of the detail around the head, which was hidden by the hair. :/

It's definitely my most complex model yet. It even has wiskers :)

Turns out, enabling particles to render in viewport kills performance.

Without it, I could basically double the size of the simulation.

It looks less ferocious, but also less like styrofoam.

It does have a pretty procedural hex pattern though. :)

I still need to learn how to apply multiple overlapping bevels without completely destroying the topology. You can see some odd shading artefacts if you look for them.
@nordern The hat came out really well—that's a deceptively tricky thing to make. Nicely done!
