@dansup i see that a stretch goal is $200,000 - Pixelfed Foundation - perhaps it would be smarter to do it the other way around? I mean, set up a legal nonprofit structure to receive the money and then do a kickstarter campaign. I hope this works out well and that you don't just run away with the money. I think the entire #fediverse community should learn something from this: how not to get grifted the next time around
