Hi friends! It’s been a while! I’m in #Germany and hoping to join Mastodon under a personal account (since Facebook is a sinking ship), but I can’t seem to add a new account here. Anyone have any server recs? Ideally a mix of English and German, as I speak some German but not fluently.
I could join mastodon social but….idk. Looking for something nerdy and friendly.
Or if anyone has an invite for here…? Thanks!

I don't know any instance that matches your description but mine (mas.to) is pretty good. Well run and was one of the only larger instances that did not integrate with Threads. Give the mkferate

@FediGarden might give you some ideas - it is a carefully curated list of instances.

Let me rack my brain and see if I can come up with some others.
