To the second question: it's supposed to work using the embed button, found on profiles under the three dots highlighted in the below image, however, the account in question must approve of this, and I haven't tested any that allows it

Answer 1:
You need a new account at one of Pixelfeds instances. Your Mastodon account is only valid for your Mastodon instance.
Answer 2:
You can use the URL of the picture / video you uploaded but you can't embed the Pixelfed entry (yet).
@skillissues @dnkrupinski @pixelfed @dansup You can use different mobile apps to login into your account (like PixelDruid, Pixelfed or Pixelix for Pixelfed instances), but the account management will not be spanned over multiple instances.
Most of the apps are able to give you access to multiple accounts. And some apps can be used for different instances like Mastodon **and** Pixelfed, but your still need different accounts / logins.
