Having new contributors is an amazing feeling 😁

For the past 7 years, @dansup has been building Pixelfed himself, and out of his own pocket.

Now, we have multiple new contributors to our mobile app, backend and frontend!

2025 is going to be a great year for the fediverse and social web ❤️

@pixelfed @dansup Great news, looking forward to more growth this year! I'm leaning towards Mastodon over Bluesky as I'd rather support European based services where possible but definitely away from US based ones but Pixelfed looks like the best Instagram replacement.
