I was talking to friends and described it as "You know when MSG Network decides to stop their broadcast during contract negotiations and say 'oooooh Spectrum Cable doesn't want you to have our channel, go call and demand you keep MSG!' even though they didn't have to stop anything? It's just that but at the Washington DC level."
