@echo_xc AFAIK Sup doesn’t really exist – except as source code in a repository that hasn’t been updated in over 1 1/2 years. *sigh* So even though it keeps getting mentioned as a replacement for WhatsApp, it really isn’t. For that, I’d say Signal is a more popular option but I really wish people would check out Session. It’s essentially the same with better anonymity.

@cesarb thanks for that link. Interesting. My main point about anonymity was due to Signal requiring a phone number – which I think is idiotic. I understand they are trying to uncouple this requirement, but the last time I created an account, it was still required.
