This is a pretty interesting factor that I’ve seen pop up more often lately in the military enthusiast circles that looks a lot like a demonstration of what’s often called “legal warfare” - “lawfare”

A way in which states combat each other (even allies) using law in various ways in order to interdict or limit services in a whole host of different ways. It’s quite frequent in the US outbound to others and the EU has been doing this in increasing fashion…..

… what I’m curious about here is I don’t see how the UK can have any hope of actually enforcing this sort of thing other than not allowing the service to be used in the UK.

Anything wider than that can very easily become a breach of sovereignty on foreign nations.
