Probably crazy question... And I realize this is going to sound bougie as hell.

You know how they have tailors who will make a bespoke suit? Is there any equivalent like this for cobblers, to get like bespoke boots?

You know, they would measure their customer's feet, work with them on choices of style and leather material and soles, then presto... You have boots that perfectly fit what you are looking for?

(Context: many of you have seen that I wear the same pair of dark green Dr Marten boots pretty much all the time and I have worn these literally since college. I've had them repaired and re-soled probably half a dozen times or more. I love them, but they may finally be on their way out. And this style of boot, the Zachary boot, has long since been discontinued. It has this plush soft interior that is an absolute dream.)

@deviantollam: it looks like there's several options out there-- these limmer guys sound really good but you'll have to wait (2-3yrs) and go for an in-person fitting in NH. Limmer will do fittings remotely but then they don't guarantee the fit.

I've heard 2/3 of these names before (nicks & whites), the third also seems legit (baker):

also, it looks like the vibram 2661 ripple sole is what you're used to?
