You could try Floccus Bookmark Sync. It is also available via F-Droid.

@Lanthanus @radasbona @fdroidorg sadly, Floccus does not integrate with Firefox (or derivatives) on Android (yet). It is also rather buggy and I could not get it to work with my git backend at all.
I appreciate the suggestion, anyway! :)

@tinx @fdroidorg that is exactly the point. Switching the browser is a huge pain i.t.a. because there is no bookmarks import/export. In 2025.... 😡

@AAMfP @privacybrowser @monocles It's true that, given F-Droid's FOSS-only stance, we don't currently build any Chromium based browsers, as that codebase is not only huge but comes with plenty of random binaries. The two mentioned browsers depend on the system installed Webview so it's out of our hands. We just hope everybody gets timely Android and Webview updates.

@fdroidorg DeepL translatev I now use Fennec as Mull was no longer stable in the end. So far satisfied with Fennec 134.0.1 as it is based on Mozilla.
