@maple It reminds me of a 'random' monthly spin that the electricity company here provides to win credit on your power bill. The graphic is of a spinner with segments labeled different amounts of money, ranging from eight pence to hundreds of pounds. The graphic implies that all probabilities are equal, as in a mechanical spinner which might stop at any position. Yet I've been spinning it four times a month for a couple of years, and every time - every single time - it has landed on eight pence.
