The Eaton Fire is continuing to spread rapidly and has now scorched 2,227 acres as of 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to CalFire. The burned area is almost all in populated areas, not up in the mountains. #EatonFire

@EricFielding Godspeed. Winds were just a slightly more intense than normal for santa ana standards near us up in ventura overnight. Those really high winds hit us during the Thomas fire though, and they are no joke.
