I really hope people take the next few years to stop paying any attention to the tedious orange skinned grifter and focus on strengthening their own communities.

We are the cavalry. Nobody else is coming to save us. Time to start acting like it. Touch some grass, learn to hack, cook something for a neighbor, volunteer with your town's parks and rec department, show up to city council and school board meetings. Fight the learned helplessness we're being conditioned to accept.

@RebelGeek99 That kind of mindset allows the battle to transcend generations and eras, which is where those now in charge have been fighting it.
Let's live in the local present as much as we can. Leave the global present to the globe.
@RebelGeek99 And for the love of Pete, watch Samurai Champloo.
@RebelGeek99 "We are the cavalry" indeed. My plan is to seek out bartering opportunities in addition to working to protect people who will be targeted by the incoming orange administration.
@RebelGeek99 @504DR I'm on it! Local organizing, mutual assistance, and holding my electeds' feet to the fire.
Dang! @RebelGeek99 I just re-read this post, and I think it can't be boosted enough. This is the bullseye-est bullseye I ever saw
