5/5: Well, 2025 is here! 2024 has been harsher for me than 2023, as I've spent too much of it in some kind of pain and/or worrying about work. My job took up a lot of energy and self-reflection proved depressing. It can more comfortable to be oblivious, although apparently obliviousness doesn't help you to grow and improve. In 2024 I gave up on duolingo after achieving a streak of precisely 1500 days, as it kept adding really annoying behaviour modification tweaks. My language-learning hobby will continue elsewhere.
