jacqueline project update: i am looking for additional work. please hire me.

i am a very good software engineer. i can lead engineering teams, i can manage projects, i can design hardware. i have brought a physical product to market. i'm quite the catch!

if you've ever used an android phone, then you've run code i wrote. if you've gotten directions with google maps, you've used ui built by me and the team i used to lead. i'm also quite good at backend server development!

part-time and contract gigs are ideal, but i'll take what i can get. i'm based in sydney and have experience working remotely.

cool tech zone will obviously remain a going concern, but unfortunately we need a little more financial stability than selling mp3 players can provide at this time. it is what it is.

thank u for your many boosts i hope i will land on my feet !!
@jacqueline πŸ’œ
I landed my first internship in telecoms via fedi, hope it works out for you too 🀞
@jacqueline good luck. Although I've been two years out of work. With nearly 30 years experience.

@jacqueline

I've boosted your post for more visibility and I'm sending all positive energy you need to reach the proper goal for your endeavor

@jacqueline no offense, but if you're looking for work than I am most definently fucked. 😭😭😭
@alex02 i believe in u, alex! i bet you've got skills i don't!

@alex02 @jacqueline The trades always need people. Good solid work nobody will outsource.

I'm with you on the tech uncertainty. I was always one of those nameless 'competent' people, got layed off repeatedly, took me a long time to find new jobs when that happened. A couple of my buddies were more the "rockstar" types that could point at really high profile cool stuff they've done, they had far fewer problems with finding new gigs. Moving to a trade has been good for me, seriously, consider it.

@alex02 @jacqueline I got fired and then 8 months later I found a new and much better job, so you never know.
@jacqueline now I’m curious about the Android/maps stuff. Do people not usually add a link to a cv to such a post?
@mb21 it is available on request. no rubberneckers !!
@jacqueline those are really cool credentials! i hope you find something :3

@jacqueline > i am looking for additional work. please hire me.

the jacqueline need for work is insatiable

@hypha my need for money more like
@jacqueline as expected, cat doesn’t bring money home πŸ˜”
(but sometimes bird or mouse)
@jacqueline damn, wish I had a suitable project for you right now. I definitely want to work again with a bunch of people I can learn tons from
@jacqueline are you still available for contract work? Would involve implementing software upgrade workflows on a Xilinx xczu15eg-based hardware platform for my employer (a US-based corp).
