@ordrad @tangledwing Indeed. Life will survive. It's survived worse. So likely will we. We can engineer for ourselves & our domesticated animals survivable areas. It's just a matter of how *many* will survive.
In my estimation we should be gathering & preserving genetic cross sections of entire threatened habitats for later rewilding. The technology to resurrect extinct species is already in reach now. It will only grow in sophistication in coming decades.
