If Trump & Musk manage to destroy the US government the way Project 2025 tells us they will…that’ll be devastating to everyone except the oligarchs. Trump seems to believe he’s omnipotent and can simply take whatever he wants from whomever he chooses — but the rest of the world is unlikely to capitulate as easily as he envisions. (They’re all completely nuts.)

Trump will work on breaking states that voted against him, that will be his central project, and the Dems are so useless it will be a dark age
Yep, and all of it will have a negative impact on the lives of practically everyone, making this a time that’s unsustainable for most, and ripe for a revolution.
John Meadows@KimberlyN @MatWright I fear Trump and the media will be able to convience many millions of Americans that the suffering Trump will causes will be everyone else’s fault: the fault of other nations, the fault of anyone who isn’t straight, white and Republican. And there is no shortage of gullibility south of the border; they’ll suck it up without questioning it.
Sadly, yes. I’m guessing there will eventually be a tipping point when people will turn on them — though I could be wrong. 😑
I keep coming back to the theory that all systems seek equilibrium. They can try to turn US into Russia, ruled by an authoritarian regime, controlled by oligarchs…but how far will they get before US citizens revolt? I don’t know.
We are inextricably connected to the US, so the whole situation worries me.
