@WuMargaret yeah, depending on the pet. not our lab. @Paws2Spindle has made a lot of husky yarn just from the fur only.
@WuMargaret @Paws2Spindle if carding the wool instead of combing it, could probably throw in lab fur. i’ll have small hand carders soon to try on the waste wool i pull off the combs.
Paws 2 Spindle@rabcyr @WuMargaret I have long hair and have wondered if adding some to my yarn would make it both more durable and personal. Haven't yet, however. It's too long for carding but possibly combing might work.
But regardless, if you have short fibers worked in with long, you'll want a tight twist to minimize shedding.
